I bought two wood plaques (one oval & one rectangle) for under $1 a piece at Wal-Mart and Mod Podged patterned paper onto them with help from my 11 year old son, Ben. We then Mod Podged two pictures of my Grandpa onto them. One picture of him when he was in the service and the other one of him the year he passed away. We then added puffy glitter star stickers to them for decoration and used ribbon to hang them on the wall. We also did a wall hanging with some rosette's and pictures of my grandpa in the service. I think my son really enjoyed this project. He was only 6 months old when this Grandpa passed away and he's sad that he didn't get a chance to know him. This was a great opportunity for us to talk about what he was like. Sorry about the glare on the pictures. I did my best.
I'm happy with how my project turned out. Now, go to Crazy About Cricut and post a project so you will be entered for a chance to win this awesome prize pack from Post It (see below) and check out the other design team members projects for inspiration.
Thanks for stopping by and I would love for you to leave me a comment. Thanks for your help, Ben!
