Here are some cards I've decided to take to our Farmer's Market today to sell. I don't know how well they will go over, but it's worth a try. We'll just have to see. What do you think of them? I'd love some feedback.
I didn't realize the bow slipped down on this cupcake card until after I took the picture. I've fixed it now. :)
Now I need to make some baby cards and more masculine cards.
Well, I have had my new E2 for about three weeks and I'm loving it. The day it arrived (it was a few days early), my husband sent me a text at work saying "you got a package and it says Cricut on it". I was so excited I could hardly concentrate at work the rest of the day. I opened it as soon as I got home, but didn't get a chance to play with it until a couple of days later. It didn't take me long at all to learn how to use it. I love that it has the touch screen and I'm loving the preloaded cartridges on it. It's great! I love it! I'm finally just getting the pics uploaded to blogger from when I opened it up. My husband took pics so I can scrapbook the moment later. :)
Isn't it so pretty?! Did I tell you how much I love it?! ;)

Hello everyone! Thanks for stopping by. Today is Thankful Thursday and here is my design team project for today. Our project was to honor someone special with a display. For example: a banner, wall hanging, home decor, or album. Here's what I came up with. I wanted to honor my grandpa who passed away in the year 2000. He served in WWII.
I bought two wood plaques (one oval & one rectangle) for under $1 a piece at Wal-Mart and Mod Podged patterned paper onto them with help from my 11 year old son, Ben. We then Mod Podged two pictures of my Grandpa onto them. One picture of him when he was in the service and the other one of him the year he passed away. We then added puffy glitter star stickers to them for decoration and used ribbon to hang them on the wall. We also did a wall hanging with some rosette's and pictures of my grandpa in the service. I think my son really enjoyed this project. He was only 6 months old when this Grandpa passed away and he's sad that he didn't get a chance to know him. This was a great opportunity for us to talk about what he was like. Sorry about the glare on the pictures. I did my best.
I'm happy with how my project turned out. Now, go to Crazy About Cricut and post a project so you will be entered for a chance to win this awesome prize pack from Post It (see below) and check out the other design team members projects for inspiration.
Thanks for stopping by and I would love for you to leave me a comment. Thanks for your help, Ben!

Okay, here is the last one finally. I had issues trying to get it posted on blogger so I finally gave up yesterday and decided to try again this morning. If you haven't checked in with me all weekend, it was National Scrapbook Day on Saturday and My Pink Stamper had challenges going on all day long. She posted 1 new challenge every hour. Now, of course, it took me twice as long to finish them, but I finally finished. Challenge #12--Make a Scrapbook Page, Card, or other with a Kid's theme!
