Rock On!

Hey Everyone!

I love joining in on blog hops whenever I have a chance and My Pink Stamper has a great blog hop once a month. It's always the third Friday of the month. This month, I didn't get a chance to join in on the blog hop until Saturday and I just got a chance to upload the pictures of my card I came up with for the challenge. This month the challenge was to show your style whatever that may be.

Well, my favorite color is purple and I also really like hot pink and neon green too. I think my style is bright, cheery, fun and sparkly. I like adding Stickles, Glossy Accents, ribbon, buttons, and diamond bling whenever I can. Here is what I came up with.

I recently got a couple of Simply Betty Stamps so I thought I would try one out and I colored it with my watercolor pencils.

I added Glossy Accents to her glasses to look like lenses and I added Stickles to her bows and outfit. I added some ribbon and purple buttons. I also added the "Rock On" stamp from My Pink Stampers Everyday Life stamp set.

Well, hope you like what I came up with. Thanks for stopping by and leave me a comment if you want. I love hearing from everyone! :)

My Pink Stamper Color Challenge

Hello Everyone!

Guess what?! Today is my birthday! Yay! Happy Birthday to me! Okay, now, on to something else not about me. Today, My Pink Stamper is doing a Color Challenge on her blog and I've decided to join in. The colors to be used in your project are Orange, Turquoise, and Green (any other colors can be added). So, here is what I came up with. I think it turned out pretty cute. What do you think?

I used the Cricut Essentials cartridge that is pre-loaded on my Cricut Expression 2 for the flower cut. I found a button in my stash of old buttons I got from my grandma. The paper is from K & Company Lemon Drop, the ribbon is Essentials Grosgrain Ribbon, and I added Star Dust Stickles to the edges and inner part of the flower. Oh, I also used My Pink Stamper's Everyday Life stamp Best Wishes. This card makes me feel like summer is truly here.

Thanks for stopping by. If you are new, I'd love for you to become a follower and leave me a comment so I can follow you too. If you have been here before, thanks for stopping back and leave me a comment. Stop back soon.

Challenge #7--Make a Scrapbook Page!

Okay, this is my specialty and I'm pretty quick at scrapbook pages. I keep them pretty simple. I will journal on the tag in the upper right hand corner.

National Scrapbook Day ~ My Pink Stamper Challenge #5

Challenge #5- Any 3-D item OR if that is too much of a challenge then add a 3-D item on your scrapbook page or card!

I added my 3-D item to the inside of this card. I think I could've done something better if I had more time....
