Here's my project I made for this hop. I made treat boxes for Valentine's Day. I made them the same way and then just decorated them in different ways. Here's how you make them:

I took an 8.5 x 11 inch piece of cardstock and scored it at 2", 5", 7" and 10" on the 11 inch side and at 1.25" and 7.25" on the 8.5 inch side. I then folded on all the score lines using my bone folder. See picture below.

I then cut off the whole top except for the one flap you see in the picture. For the bottom, I cut off the little tab on the lower right corner and cut slits along all the score lines at the bottom. See picture below.

For decorations on my white box, I stamped using My Pink Stamper's From The Heart stamp set. See picture below

I then added red tape along the small tab on the left side and one of the outer bottom flaps. See picture below.

I then closed up the box and pushed in the sides of the box a bit to get it to form the treat box shape. See picture below.

I punched the holes for the ribbon using my Crop-a-dile. I then filled the box with candy and added the ribbon to close up the box. See below picture.

Here is my treat box all closed up......

Then I made my second box and covered it with some fun patterned paper on all four sides. I used Doodlecharms Cricut Cartridge to cut out the heart and I used My Pink Stamper's Happiest Moments stamp set to stamp on the heart. I exchanged the ribbon this time for some My Mind's Eye Lime Twist Twine to close up the box with.

I hope you like my project. :)

The prize for this blog hop is the Space Party Cricut Cartridge.

All you have to do to be entered in the drawing for this cartridge is leave a comment on Jenny's blog at http://crazyaboutcricut.blogger.com/. Everyone who links up a project will get two additional entries for a total of three entries if you also leave a comment!

Now head back over to Jenny's blog at http://crazyaboutcricut.blogspot.com/ and at least leave a comment, but we'd also love to see you all come up with a project to link up also.

Thank you for joining us for our design team blog hop and good luck!

Valentine's Cards

Hello Everyone!
Sorry it took me a little longer than I expected to get my cards posted, but here they are....

The stamps used are from My Pink Stamper's From The Heart stamp set. The heart cut is from the Doodlecharms Cricut Cartridge, and I added the heart with an Action Wobble which I took a quick video of to show you the "action" part. :)

Here's my second card I made. I put together a couple of Prima Flowers with a white pearl brad. I also added stitching with a white jelly roll pen.

So, there you have them. I hope you like them and I'd love to have you leave me comments and/or questions. If you are not already a follower, I'd love to have you follow me and leave me your info and I will follow you too.

Thanks for stopping by and stop back real soon. I'm still on the Thankful Thursday Design Team and we have changed things up a bit. We will now have projects just once a month, but they will always be blog hops. As you can see from the button at the top of my blog, our first hop is coming up this coming Thursday. We'd love to have you all join us. You can start off the blog hop at Crazy About Cricut's blog.

Crafting, crafting and more crafting!

Hi there everyone!

I just wanted to let everyone know that I have been busy crafting a lot lately, but I haven't been able to post any of it because they are gifts that I have been making and I have to make sure the person who receives it gets to see it first. :)

Anyway, I will be posting a lot more hopefully soon, so please keep stopping by and checking out my blog often. So, for now, I am going to post something I made for my mom. She saw the Duct Tape cell phone cases I was making this past fall and she asked me quite a while ago to make one for her, but she wanted a way to attach it to her belt loop for when she is out in the barn doing horse chores.

So.... here it is. A Duct Tape cell phone case for my mom's cell phone.

I added some gems to the top flap to bling it up a little bit. I really love this peace pattern Duct Tape. It's so pretty.

The top flap has a velcro closure. The cell phone cases I made in the past didn't have a top flap. I just came up with that idea while I was working on it. I thought it needed something that would keep the cell phone in the case in case it did fall to the ground.

My mom requested that I add a way for the cell phone case to attach to her belt loop. This is the part that took me a while to figure out how to add this feature. I finally decided to add it the way you see in the following picture. It also has velcro for the closure.

Here you can see the belt loop holder open. I added it and then put my cell phone in the case and swung the case by just the belt loop attachment and it was stuck very good so I'm hoping it holds up for her. She will be able to test it out well for me since she is out in the barn everyday doing horse chores.

So, that is my latest project I have made. I hope you like it. Thanks for stopping by and checking out my blog and stop back again in a couple of days. I will be posting a new style of card that I made for the first time and I made it for a Valentine's Day card. Come back and check it out. :)

Wedding Card

Hey Everyone!

I'm glad you stopped by. I had to share the wedding card I made for my friend Emily who got married on New Years Eve.

I rounded the corners of the red paper with my We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper 1/4" and I tried something new that I've never done before. I have seen a lot of scrapbookers/card makers use their sewing machine to stitch on their card stock and I love the look it gives the card so I decided to give it a try. I think it turned out pretty good for my first try.

I  tied some white tulle into a bow and used a Zot to attach it. The cardstock sticker is a Doodlebug Design Doodle-Pop and the stamp is from Hero Arts Everyday Sayings. I'm so glad I finally had another occasion that I needed to make a card for. It really inspired me to get creative.

Here is a close-up of part of the card. I think it turned out very cute and Emily loved it.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you like my card. Stop back again soon. :)
